Panera

Listen… I wanted to believe. Panera sells itself as the spot for fresh, “clean” ingredients and food you’d feel good about serving your own family. But then I met their ranch. And let me tell you, no one should be proud of this.

It’s thick. And not in the delicious way that Hermann’s was (see previous review for details). I’m talking “globby, sour-smelling mystery substance” that clings to a fork like it’s afraid to let go. The taste? Just as rough. It’s giving store-bought on clearance.

I get that ranch isn’t their main character, but if you’re going to charge me Panera prices and then hit me with this, we need to have a talk. There is nothing freshly prepared, clean, or carefully selected about whatever ended up in that ramekin. Unless I have ranch at home that I would be eating this salad with, I’m ordering a sandwich instead. The prices are far too high to end up with dressing like this. Do better, Panera.
