Biercamp wasn’t even on my ranch radar until I ordered their tater tot BBQ bowl of deliciousness and casually asked if ranch was an option. The employee pointed to the condiment bar in the center, and I’ll admit, I almost lost hope. Then he hit me with: “We make it here using a local dairy.” Instant redemption.
And honestly? It delivered. The consistency was spot on: thick enough to stay put on the food but not that weird, clingy kind that coats everything in its path. I accidentally spilled some from my ramekin while trying to balance all of my items. That consistency sweet spot is where it spill a little but not a lot. The flavor was fresh, creamy, and clearly homemade. A happy little surprise that made me respect this place even more.
Now about those Backwoods Tots… I got mine with brisket, and that was the right move. The coleslaw was crisp, the pickles were crunchy, and the brisket was brisketing. The only thing I could’ve done without was the raw onion, but that’s just me. Also, the portion size? Massive. Definitely bring friends, or at least stretchy pants.
Between the in-house ranch made with local dairy and the fact that Biercamp is already such a staple for unique eats, I’ve gotta give them a Top-Notch because supporting local + legit ranch effort deserves a crown.
