Ranch dust fries. The name alone set expectations I wasn’t sure could be met.

They were met.

First of all, the design of this space was stunning & fun! It had a nod tosome funny movies from the early 2000’s and this giant tree thing when you walk in! Definitely a photo taking spot. Speaking of photo’s, I don’t know what kind of magic mirror was in their women’s bathroom but I don’t think I’ve ever looked better!

Okay, back to the ranch!

Turns out Hop ‘n Wich is a sister spot to Sneaky Beagle, and it shows. Same gritty texture in the ranch, which tracks if these two are running the same recipe. Whoever’s behind the scenes clearly understands that consistency matters, and I respect that.

Not much smell on this one, which threw me a little after how much the smell at Sneaky Beagle set the tone. But the flavor delivered anyway. The ranch dusted fries are salty, almost aggressively so, but the flavor backs it up. I’d order them again just for the dust alone.

This is Runner-Up territory, same as its sister restaurant. Good ranch, good bones, and maybe I should check out the rest of their portfolio, you know, for science’s sake.

Life’s too short for bad ranch.
