The Review

This ranch had me curious from the start. It smells kind of sour, which made me cautious, but the flavor was a nice surprise, salty, tangy, and a little peppery in a way that reminded me of pickles, but like… fancy pickles. The taste definitely outperforms the smell (sigh of relief!).

 

The consistency is right where I want it, not too thick, not too thin. It holds onto the food without sliding off. I noticed those same red flecks I’ve seen in other ranches lately (I still don’t know what they are, but they’ve become a bit of a mystery quest for me).

 

There’s something about the flavor I can’t quite figure out. It’s good, and I’d order it again, but it doesn’t land as a standout. That said, it also doesn’t fall flat. I debated between “It’ll Do” and “Runner-Up,” but it edges into Runner-Up territory for me – it’s solid, interesting, and worth trying. 

 

The food was delicious. We ate with some friends so I got to try a bunch of stuff. The goat cheese/bacon pizza was the standout for me. The wings hit the spot I needed them to, but can we take a minute and look at that celery? Really?
