At first glance, I knew I was in trouble; the ranch had that straight-from-the-bottle look that had me side-eyeing it. I held out a little hope, but the smell didn’t have me readjusting my stare: sour and not in the refreshing tangy way. Sure enough, one taste confirmed it. With a grimace of disappointment and a shake of my head. Store-bought sadness strikes again.

And honestly? It’s a real bummer, because this place is so cute and my expectations were sky-high. Even worse, the food itself deserved better; the side salad was fresh and crisp, the seasoned fries were addictive, and the chicken parm sandwich hit the spot. With the right ranch, this could’ve been a whole moment. Instead, sailed away dreams in a ramekin.
