Outskirts Cafe

This ranch looks house-made, and I believe it is… but it’s giving tartar sauce vibes by the appearance. There’s no real smell to it, no sour preservative nonsense either, which I appreciate. It’s just very herb-forward but kind of quiet otherwise.

I tested it with the fried pickles first, and honestly, they completely steamrolled it. The ranch didn’t stand a chance. With the chicken fingers, it showed up a little more, and I could actually taste what it was trying to do, kinda.

That said, it wasn’t bad. It wasn’t offensive. It wasn’t sad. It just existed politely on the plate. This is shoulder-shrug ranch. The kind you use because it’s there, not because you’re excited about it.
