Peppino's Pizzeria & Sports Grille

Peppino’s in Allendale had a lot of options to pick from. I went with chicken wings, a salad, fries, and a sandwich for the table. The ranch worked on all of it.

Thicker end of the spectrum, consistency, which I liked, wasn’t super gloopy. The smell is a little tangy (not sour). The taste is what ranch should be — a little salty, a little creamy, with some garlic and dill in there but nothing fighting for attention. It just tasted right.

Runner-Up isn’t a knock. Just like Ucello’s, this one came close to Top-Notch and I mean that. It just didn’t have that moment where I’m reconsidering my whole week to figure out how soon I can get back. Great ranch. Didn’t quite get there.
