Not all ranch is created equal

Jonny Cakes - Canton, Michigan

Jonny Cakes knows what it’s doing. This ranch smells and tastes exactly how you want ranch to. Slightly thicker consistency, but it clings to food like a champ. Flavor is tangy with a little sour zip—in a really good way. Solid Runner-Up, maybe even with a little *plus* on the side. Didn’t blow my mind, but absolutely did its job (and did it well).

RANCH REVIEWRUNNER-UPMICHIGAN BASED

Jonny Cakes is serving up more than just breakfast, it’s also bringing a ranch that understands the assignment. This one smells like ranch should smell, and more importantly, it tastes like ranch should taste. Comforting, familiar, balanced, delicious.

It’s got a slightly thicker consistency, but not in a way that feels heavy; it clings to your food like it’s supposed to and doesn’t make you fight to keep it off your shirt.

Flavor-wise, it leans into a slight sour tang, but in the way that wakes up your taste buds instead of slapping them. Nothing weird, nothing off-putting, nothing to decode. Just good, solid ranch.

It didn’t hit “Top-Notch” levels for me, as I didn’t have a dance moment with it, but I’d absolutely order again. This one’s a Runner-Up for sure, maybe even a Runner-Up with a little sparkle. You won’t be disappointed.
