If you’ve been paying attention (or following my breadcrumbs of obsession), you know I crowned Gus’s Carry Out with a Top-Notch rating, so it’s no surprise that Tomato Brother’s gets the same treatment.
Thankfully, with these same owners, they use the same ranch recipe (unlike some others I’ve tried). It has the same “gimme gimme gimme” energy. We are not reinventing the ranch wheel here; we are spinning it with joy (like the price is right!)
It's that thinner-but-not-too-thin consistency that clings just right. It’s flavorful without being too herby or too tangy. It’s just right. Goldilocks would shut up and dip her breadstick in silence.
And yes, this was the spot I chose for my magazine feature photo. You think I was trusting just any ranch to carry the weight of my face in print? No, ma’am. This one had to be worthy, and it was.
